PRACTICAL DJ DECISION GUIDE

How to build an event run sheet

Turn the schedule into owned cues, practical buffers and named decisions.

What matters most

List the fixed anchors first — guest arrival, dinner, speeches, cake, first dance, close — then fill music and cues around them.

Points to work through

  • Give every cue an owner: who calls it, who lowers the music, and what plays.
  • Add realistic buffers; formalities almost always run late, and the plan should absorb it without panic.
  • Note who can change the order on the night so a live decision is clean, not chaotic.
  • Keep one current version and date it, so the DJ, emcee and venue all work from the same document.
  • Share it before the day and confirm each owner has seen their cues.

Share your event details for a quote that fits

The WhatsApp form asks only for event type, date, time, venue or area, guest count and likely requirements. Fill in what you know and leave the rest blank.

Ask about my event

Your brief is read by a person; you get a reply about fit and availability — and you decide from there.
