PRACTICAL DJ DECISION GUIDE

Final-week DJ checklist

Freeze the latest brief, confirm contacts and access, test files and record every remaining decision owner.

What matters most

Freeze the latest brief and run sheet, and make sure everyone is working from that one version.

Points to work through

  • Reconfirm the date, arrival time, venue address, room and the on-site contact’s phone number.
  • Confirm load-in time, parking and access with the venue, in case anything changed since booking.
  • Test the key files — entrances, first dance, sponsor audio — on the actual playback setup.
  • Reconfirm must-play, do-not-play and any last song changes with the client.
  • Record who owns each remaining open decision and by when, so nothing is left to the day itself.

Share your event details for a quote that fits

The WhatsApp form asks only for event type, date, time, venue or area, guest count and likely requirements. Fill in what you know and leave the rest blank.

Ask about my event

Your brief is read by a person; you get a reply about fit and availability — and you decide from there.
