What matters most
Rank a short must-play list by priority instead of handing over a hundred fixed tracks that remove all live judgement.
Points to work through
- Give a reason beside key songs (a couple’s song, a company anthem) so the DJ places them at the right moment.
- Keep the do-not-play list specific — songs, artists or themes — and short enough to actually remember.
- Separate "must-play at a set moment" from "play sometime tonight" so timing is clear.
- Mark any songs that need a clean edit or a specific version.
- Leave deliberate room for the DJ to read the floor and take live requests within your boundaries.
