PRACTICAL DJ DECISION GUIDE

Build an event audio backup plan

Back up the playlist together with files, playback, cables, power decisions and the contact chain.

What matters most

Keep the full music library on two devices, with the same files and playlists, ready to swap.

Points to work through

  • Carry spare cables and adapters for every connection in the signal path, not just the main one.
  • Know the venue’s power layout and have a plan if a circuit trips mid-event.
  • Keep an offline copy of key files — first dance, entrances, sponsor audio — that does not depend on streaming or Wi-Fi.
  • Write the contact chain: who to call if the DJ, the venue AV or the power fails.
  • Test the backup before guests arrive, not for the first time when something has already gone wrong.

Share your event details for a quote that fits

The WhatsApp form asks only for event type, date, time, venue or area, guest count and likely requirements. Fill in what you know and leave the rest blank.

Ask about my event

Your brief is read by a person; you get a reply about fit and availability — and you decide from there.
