List every device that needs power and confirm sockets and circuit capacity near the setup point.
Points to work through
- Bring the adapters and extension leads the venue’s outlets actually require.
- Map the signal path: each source, into the mixer, out to speakers — and label both ends of each cable.
- Confirm microphone paths and channels, including wireless frequencies that could clash with other suppliers.
- Assign who tests each link before doors open and who fixes it if it drops.
- Keep spare cables for every connection type used, plus a spare power lead.
